Scottish Independence

On 18 September 2014 the Scots go went to the polls to determine whether Scotland should be an independent country. I have written a bit about this matter on my blog and elsewhere. Here are some of my key posts.

First, here is me nailing my #indyref colours to the mast: Why I am voting Yes in the Scottish independence referendum.

Here is a post about Lawyers for Yes, written for Academics for Yes.

Here is me at the Scottish Constitutional Futures Forum on self-determination.

Here is a post about Orkney, Shetland and territorial integrity (uti possidetis).

Here is a post about Local Government and its interaction with the referendum campaign.

Here is a post about stickers and reminding people the #indyref does not suspend the need to respect the property of others.

Here is a post about the regulation of the #indyref and my non-role as a presiding officer on referendum day.

And, last but not least, here is a post about the aftermath.
